I'm really glad you asked this, because it got me to stop and really try to word this more coherently. Fair warning, long answer incoming;

I have amended the MC's info post facts, with one that was obvious to me (the writer) but not so obvious to you!

So there is a much longer answer to this here, but a quick example would be;

You are a female player and have picked all the male/masc. options for the ROs, but you actually feel no sexual attraction to them, only romantic. You realise (as the kids say) that you are heteromantic and asexual.

Alternatively, you are a nonbinary player, and you have picked a mix of genders for the ROs, and you only start to feel sexual attraction to them once you get to closer and further down the line. You find that you are attracted to multiple genders romantically, but it takes a closer bond to feel sexual attraction to them.

Stuff like that is what I want to (attempt to) implement, to have a more personal character to a player.

Oh, the most socially mundane things you can imagine that would be hilarious for a prolific killer to do. This bitch (gender neutral) is really struggling;

Fabric crafts. Knitting, cross-stitch, crocheting, you name it.

Model building. Trains, animals, buildings, dioramas.

Bird watching. You join an online group and everything.

Collecting items. Coins, postcards, fucking bottle caps. You don't travel as much anymore, but that's what online auctions are for.

Plant rearing. I'm talking bonsai, marimo/algae/, orchids.

Reading. This one is probably the least socially boring, but you've been reading nothing but children's books for the past several years- you're finally branching out!

And more, if I can think of them or get fun suggestions!

So in this case, when I say "multiple", I really do mean multiple.

The MC canonically will know how to speak in the most common and populous languages in the world (let's say top 5 for now) including ASL and with that can kind of muddle through a lot of other languages, especially if they are similar. I've yet to decide whether I will include variations in reading and writing levels, or if I let the reader go hog-wild with a good ole checklist and pick whatever extra languages they want.
