Is there a backstory for the Ralts in the corrupted Pokeball? Very curious since I always end up using it
that sidequest was inspired by this comic (i'd like to find a better source but searching for anything is impossible and i can't quite read the signature?).
anyway, it stuck with me so i wanted to try and create the same kind of feeling (impossible through only telling), but actually save the pokemon at the end.
the OT, iirc, is 'vermillion', who in universe is certainly dead. i imagined her being connected to barrie's gym. in real life, vermillion was a fleeting member of our community who i remembered in passing and associated with gardevoir. she was at a vulnerable point of life and i did not hear from or about her again after a point. i hope she's well.

-she’s actually still religious and does worship arceus, just in a different way than her father
-she secretly watched over taka even after leaving the sanctum and denouncing team meteor
-she plays piano and sings (very well, i might add)
-she was trained to shoot a gun and wield a knife by solaris himself. he thought she’d need it to protect taka
-as such, she’s an amazing marksman. when her and bennett reconcile, she takes him to a gun range, and he’s surprised by how good she is
-her and bennett actually become friends after the story ends. she was a bridesmaid at his and laura’s wedding! (because i think they should get married)
-she acts as a big sister to anna and noel. her and anna got along instantly, it took noel a while but he eventually warmed up to her too
-her and serra go to get their nails done together often
-she gets really into video games in the post-game. her favourites are call of duty and stardew valley (kind of matches the contrast i imagine in her personality haha)
-she’s bisexual! (mostly put that in there for our trans girlfriend who adores luna and is bi herself)
-she purposefully lets people forget that she’s essentially a trained bodyguard.
-that’s actually how she got her gym leader position, she was put through a strict training regimen by team meteor ever since she was a child

it's fully a construction-- an elaborate setpiece. it was built inside a hollowed mountain there and dressed up. you can see the floating islands are all either suspended or supported on poles. the train cars lead into it like that because titania is quietly a drama queen.

i feel so much love from this game. love for its characters, what they represent, the reborn fandom, and pokémon as a whole.
i remember a while back in your playthrough streams as you talked about having the media you create reflect your experiences as you defended depicting darker themes in it. hearing that from you really opened my eyes to how i viewed art, and made me appreciate this game so much more.

me and my friends have been playing reborn together and were wondering: fern says he doesn’t have every badge in victory road (“I’ll take your badges for myself”), so how many badges did he get? thank you!
the lines are a little bit vague and i'm reticent to determine them specifically, but we know he at the least specifically didn't have saphira's. would hardy have fought him under the circumstances, after the attack on agate? maybe not. titania and amy, after the attack on the house? bro might've gotten socked. what about adrienn, amidst all the reconstruction? could be...
i hesitate to prescribe answers to these questions that aren't represented in the text, because i feel that i'm taking something away in letting players interpret it for themselves. but i do think there's a pretty clear pattern at the end of the day that his battling skill wasn't the obstacle to him progressing-- just how much of an asshole he always was.
Were there any other efforts to restore Reborn before Adrienn showed up and took charge? I can't imagine no one tried.
