okay, I reknit this about four times, but on the upside I’m more impressed with the yarn manufacturer, who I had my doubts about,* knowing the yarn held up, and even though I went with my swirly organic decreases instead of the sharp geometric ones I wanted originally, it still turned out so appealing that it seems worth it now. It’s such a ridiculous thing. I want one myself.
*if this gets away from the handspinning context, that—that’d be me. The yarn manufacturer is me. I blended up the wool and spun it into yarn. The tools and process for this suddenly seem a lot more interesting if you’re not familiar with them, but I kind of tend to assume everyone local/adjacent to the tumblr ecosystem I am in has seen it all before.

for context i DID have a bed but the upstairs unit was finished building last year so the room I have downstairs is my sister's actually (we had to share unfortunately) and upstairs I have my own room (FINALLY) and we got a new bed for that room today😸😸😸
