I... actually don't remember. I know I started when I was still a kid (under 10 - I am now in my mid-30's) but I don't recall! That said, I never used FFN except to read. Posting prior to AO3 was occasionally on a blog, on LJ, or not at all.
🥤 ⇢ recommend an author or fanfic you love
I haven't read a lot of fanfic in the past couple of years because I've been really busy, so I'm really, really behind on reading the WIPs I was following and other things by some of the authors I've subscribed to. I read more when I took the bus to work, but now I have to drive.
That said, I've read and loved a lot of things.
Today, I'm going to pick my friend, @autobot-scout-riella. I'm mostly familiar with her shorter works which I thoroughly enjoy (such as Robot Shark-Infested Waters, Crisis Response, Cybertronian Fauna: An Unofficial Guidebook, among others), but she has some serious long form work in the Bayverse universe that folks may like (Shatterpoint). She has a pleasant style with well-developed OCs and writes for a variety of topics, including heavy themes and comedy. She also participates in events like fandomweekly and Purim Gifts.
☁️ ⇢ what made you choose your username?
It was an inside joke on a line I first heard in Keeping Up Appearances ages ago about an event featuring "riparian entertainments." The thought process went: "That's funny" -> "The edge of a river is a boundary space" -> "I like space, what are natural boundaries in space?" -> "Ah, a heliopause". Also "heliopause" is my favorite astronomical term.

I'm gonna reinterpret this as the names of two diseases, in which case, now you have a Ratchet fic where he's running around trying to figure out why everyone's colors keep changing and they can only transform into shapes that They Are Not. that... seems like it retains the heart of the ask :D

🥰 Thank you so much… I’m not going to stop drawing because of the hate I get- the most I’ll do is refrain from posting on certain platforms. I have an extremely bad art block right now and that’s why comics/content’s been slow but I’ll definitely come back around.
