Taking my old drawing and making a 3d render of it. Spending time practicing instancing, and settings in viewport 2.0. The roses, horns, and planks are all instances. I’ll simplify the roses basemesh later and update them all in one fell swoop. I’m debating trying on Nparticles for the smoke, or just modeling it by hand. If I do Nparticles though it would be great to get a gif of this spooky character. Feels good to throw a 3 point light setup though for some shadow tests. Not sure how I’ll attach the top horns later since I like the idea of leaving as many instances as possible..
