Hey taylorswift Well, today I start summer classes after having a month off from school, and EXCITED is an understatement. While I love my down time, I also really love to be busy and know that I have responsibilities. Basically, I’m a nerd and proud of it. I’ve loved school for as long as I can remember, but I love college even more! I have met so many amazing people, and have learned more than I could ever imagine. I’m four more classes away from graduating with an Associates degree, and I can’t believe it! When I was growing up, doctors were quick to tell my mom that I probably wouldn’t be able to attend college just because I have a “disability”. I knew I had to prove them wrong. So, here I am.
I’ll be taking Introduction to Philosophy (which will be interesting because I took a different course level not to long ago, and failed miserably.) Let’s hope that taking an introductory course with a new teacher will get me through this time. *fingers crossed*
The next class I’ll be taking is Psychology of The Personality-I’m really looking forward to this one since it’s right in my field of interest. Although, I’m slightly nervous because apparently this professor has a very dry teaching style and is currently working on her SIXTH PHD, so we shall see! I’m going to do my best and be positive about it because I believe that everything happens for a reason. I don’t quite know what the purpose behind taking this class with this teacher, as opposed to a different one, is, but I’ll find out very soon!
I can’t wait to eventually have a career in the helping field as a counselor. I’m hoping that through my life experiences I can help someone else. Even if it just means making a difference in one person’s life.
Anyway, I’ll let you know how my day goes later! I’ll never be able to find the right words to express just how much having you in my life means to me, but I hope in some ways you already know. Thank you for being my motivation, inspiration, and friend. I just want to make you proud. I love you with all of my heart, Taylor.
