jesper has a lot of work to be done in regards to his self identity & how he engages with being grisha but one thing he won't ever be able to come to terms with or be able to deal with is the very fact that he will watch his family, loved ones, and friends die all around him <3
#i think i talked abt on another hc post that jesper doesnt necessarily have a death wish or anything similar to it#although shes frighteningly reckless with her life#and i wouldnt quite say she has a fear of death either but it gets close enough that it gives her a thrill whenever it gets#real close#but yeah. this is also one of the reasons in the beginning as to why jesper suppressed their abilities lmfao#that is one of her biggest fears. being the last one and haunted
