I don't think I'll ever know why I feel so connected to you. My mind spends so much of it's time concerning itself with you. You will never love me the way that I need you to. The way that I want you to, or at least want somebody to. Somehow, I still find value in our relationship. I still want to spend every free moment in your arms, or laying next to you with a book in my hand, or sitting across the room from you studying. But I know that you will never love me. You know that you will never love me. You hardly feel enough attraction towards me now. Then where is the value in this? Part of it for me is the happiness you bring to me. The comfort and contentedness that elude me otherwise. But for you I see no reason to continue with this arrangement. This partnership as you so unromantically refer to it. I drive you crazy. You've said it to me plain and simple. I am not beautiful, or fit, or intelligent. I hardly get up in the morning. I am not responsible and driven. I don't push myself to be perfect. So where is the appeal? Why not just avoid the complications? Why not just stay friends? When did this suddenly become important to you?
