STRATEGIES FOR LEARNING BUSINESS ENGLISH⁣ ⁣ Reading a newspaper: 📰 ⁣ ⁣ If possible try to find an English language newspaper or visit online news websites. A good place to start for British English is the BBC's (British Broadcasting Company) news website: www.bbc.co.uk⁣ ⁣ If you have colleagues or friends with a similar English language level you could tell them about a story you have read. You should summarize the article and tell them about it using your own words.⁣ ⁣ When you can, read aloud. Even if you can only manage it's for just 10 minutes a day, you will be building speaking confidence!⁣ ⁣ Not sure you can understand all you are reading? No problem, use a dictionary and try to understand the context of what you are reading, not just the words.⁣ ⁣ Don't forget reading will build your "wordbank". Add new words and phrases to a notebook or folio.
