Life in California Maxine (Max) Mayfield started over after the events in Hawkins and went back to her roots in San Diego, California. She got her college degree in Music Production & Sound Design and turned her passion into her profession as an Analog Sound Designer & Musician. (Max works on film scores, indie games, and experimental albums, specializing in analog synthesizers, tape loops, and distorted guitar sounds. )

She skateboards daily along the beach promenades, listens to music through old headphones, and lives in a small apartment filled with vinyl records, cassette players, and effect pedals. College helped her translate emotions into sound—music is therapy, expression, and escape all at once for her. Through Vecna’s influence, Max developed an unusual ability: Echo Perception She can hear emotional and supernatural “echoes.” They manifest as: distorted sounds, faint melodies, rhythmic impulses.The more a place or person has been touched by trauma, fear, or the Upside Down, the louder and clearer these echoes become to her. Her music often becomes an unconscious translation of these echoes.

The magic of the Appalachian was something old. Something not good nor evil. It just was. When Scottish and Irish settlers had crossed the ocean to make a home nearly three hundred years before, they'd found a familiarity in those mountains, but what they didn't know was that they did not claim the land - it claimed them. The Appalachian mountains were even older than dinosaurs, having seen the rise and fall of creatures large and small, the start and fall of entire civilization. They had stayed untouched .. unchanged as the Native American populations lived amongst it land. So when the settlers had come to America and claimed the mountain range as theirs - breaking it open to harvest the minerals that had laid beneath it's rocky surface, the land fought back.

The Whaley's had grown up in that darkness, seeing the way the mountain could give and take. The ways the laws of men were bent and broken, the mountains using shrouds of heavy mist to conceal what went on within it's rocky borders.

Scarlett Beaumont is that kind of girl that who wishes for everyone what she wishes for herself. She is that kind that prays you get the best. Her heart is full of love and allthought it is sometimes hard for her to show she cares for others before she cares for herself. She wants to see you smile even if she is inside crying. Thats the kind of girl she is. The kind you want to love, the kind you want to be friends with. She is patient, she is kind, she doesnt realise her worth sometimes.

#𝑰𝑵𝑫𝑬𝑬𝑷𝑺𝑷𝑨𝑪𝑬 : caleb is a DAA fighter pilot, who suffered through a near death experience during a mission, but managed to keep his façade as the kind and playful boy up. however, shortly after "dying" in an explosion in which he had lost his right arm, caleb became a colonel of the farspace fleet, leading patrol missions through the deepspace tunnel - a position which revealed a darker, more twisted and potentially dangerous side to him, which he had always carefully hidden.
