I’m really liking the idea of an enemies soul mate. Like a hate so strong it bonds your souls together. And then that bond can be used as a force of some kind like how much would they hate that.

And then think of a story where you think it’ll be enemies to lovers but it doesn’t even or just barely comes up to enemies to friends. More like enemies to slightly civil. All because they had so much hate they slapped each other and bonded.

And

And just had an epiphany that I’m like hmmm they should maybe roll that way but like no no probably not

Both Humphrey and Sophie liked Jason romantically but hadn’t come to full terms about it

Then when he was gone they found the part that they liked about Jason in each other

And I was laughing so hard because I imagine Stephen slowly managing to climb the fence and just quietly sliding down oh so awkwardly and uncomfortably while invisible as the guy stands there going “so you think you’re all big sh**?”

😹 just the most uncool escaping of sliding along the floor and rolling away in shadow while people are just yelling to the darkness “you think you know everything” and just silent Stephen being there on the ground back adhered to the wall thinking “could they possibly just explain everything to the darkness please because I’m just full blind right now”

Everyone is like “YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID!” And he’s like… “uh..” thinks about day of walking around with his cat eating a lump of bread and slice of cheese … “could you tell me?”

And is Jason going to become a God of Mercy

He’s already got his blind faith believers in his team to be his priests who spread his right for things

He has Colin being his voice

He’s got his saved flock from multiple situations, I wouldn’t doubt some of the saved from the astral pocket would come over if they find out he has room.

He has all the right make ups that made The Builder into a Great Astral Being

And now he’s even having diamond and gold rankers coming to him for not advice but moral guidance!

And, I’ve made a wonderful idea for Clive’s wife

Picture this, Clive and his team are laid up in this town and Clive has to do some research so he goes to the local Magic Society to get some books and he’s told his wife had already started the research and where he could find her. He’s exasperatedly beginning to tell them he doesn’t have a wife but realizes the person isn’t messing with him. He nods and quickly goes to the room and finds a pretty lady nose deep in books, quickly scribbling notes in one of many notebooks.

Turns out the chick had impersonated Clive’s wife, telling those who heard rumors of her cheating that she was trying to make things right and they were working on their relationship, playing on pity by saying she wanted to help with his research to gain his trust again but really to gain access to Magic Society materials.

He’s flabbergasted and says how could they believe they were married just by her word and she winces saying “I kind of got us married” and sure enough they’re legally married by forged signatures and paid off authenticators.

But she’s smart, a quick study, self taught by all the materials she got her hands on thanks to being Clive’s wife and her research is actually crossing what he’s actually researching too. She came from the slums and would have never thought to do anything so illegal but impersonating someone who wasn’t real… is that really a crime?

And since Kit is such a movie buff and can make signs in front of people’s faces I’m surprised he doesn’t start whole monologue notes of this thoughts on interrogation pan up in front of people in Star Wars-esque manner.
