Me: *attempts to explain the inside joke between two characters, and their entire back stories, and each and every little relationship that makes the excerpt funny*

when you want to read but you can hear your brother is screaming at the top of his lungs at his computer game and can’t go ONE SECOND WITHOUT HIM SWEARING AT HIS FRIENDS LIKE STOP GO TO BED YOU BULLHORN
I hate when I’m reading something, and my mind goes off on a tangent of thought that I’m paying attention to. But while my mind was off following that thread, my eyes continued on reading the words. Then I come back (mentally) to the words and realize I don’t remember exactly where I stopped reading; only that I don’t recognize where I am.
If in your school they give you time during class to read then you better take advantage of that privilege because eventually there will come a time when you want to read for pleasure but you literally have no time to do so so READ.
