I made it so Reader was a monster, not mentioned what type, though they are one.
I hope that's okay :)
Stutters.
It annoyed Gaster.
Why would someone say something, if they couldn't get it out?
The first person like that he met, was Alphys. He only kept her around because she was smart, if she wasn't, he wouldn't.
She spoke in such a strange way, slipping on her words and seeming so nervous. He didn't like it.
If you aren't sure of your words, then don't say them.
Then he met someone else.
Their name was Y/n.
It was an interesting name, and they were an interesting person. They were around quite often because they were a friend of Papyrus, one of his sons.
He had two, one worked with Alphys while the other, Papyrus, worked with him. He helped him often in the lab, getting him things when he asked for them and talking to him. Healing him if he needed the help.
He created them when he was younger, at first just to see if they could make people to fight in the war, and if they were too weak, he was going to kill them. They were both weak and small, Papyrus was the better of the two, and they started to grow too attached to each other.
Gaster thought it would be best to kill them, then... he didn't want to talk about that.
Anyway.
With the person, Y/n, they caught his attention quickly. They weren't the smartest person; they weren't the best at talking. Doing the same thing that Alphys did, and at first it annoyed him, then slowly he started to enjoy it from them.
Seeing how flustered they got when they slipped up, covering their mouth with their hand, turning their head away. How... cute.
Gaster wasn't sure how to feel about them, so he tried his best not to.
Gaster was the royal scientist. He didn't have time to deal with his emotions.
That was... until he did.
Asgore told him to take a break from everything, as it had been a few days since he last slept. It wasn't even the longest amount of time, but his old friend told him to rest.
He couldn't.
There were too many thoughts going through his mind, so instead of trying to rest, he took a walk through Snowdin holding his hands together looking around slowly.
So many monsters, so many other shapes and sizes. Asgore was the largest monster he had ever met, over 7 feet tall yet so fluffy and... he was never really aggressive.
There were so many things that they needed to do.
He needed to work. He needed to...
Then... he got distracted.
There was the monster he mentioned before. Y/n. They were an interesting monster.
He walks over, tapping their shoulder, making them jolt looking over their shoulder quickly. They blush lightly when they saw it was him, stuttering out a greeting that he only was slightly listening to.
Stutters... something that he thought he would have hated for so long but then he met another monster and realized... maybe they weren't the worst thing in the world. He smiles at the thought, putting his hands together starting to talk with Y/n. He may have a bit of a crush, though that doesn't mean he would do anything for it right away... maybe at a later time he would say something, but he needed to finish the core and finish everything he was trying to work on.
