The reverse version of the “Finding the Sun and the Moon post fire” thing is fairly similar. Both are damaged similarly, so Sun’s voice box doesn’t work at first and he’s missing an arm as well as having some ray damage. Moon also got his legs crushed by falling debri, though it didn’t take place in the basement. The only difference is really who was found first. In the reverse au, the uninfected brother is Moon and he is found first, though it takes a while for him to coax Y/n into coming over. They were scared hearing a voice coming from a pile of boulders for obvious reasons so he just desperately tried to reassure them that he didn’t mean any harm and that he just really needed help because his legs were trapped and he couldn’t move. He still has some issues with movement after they are removed, if the fact they are crushed like paper is anything to go on. He’d explain that he heard the fire alert and tried to go back to the daycare to get his brother, but that the ceiling caved in and he got trapped and then basically begs Y/n to help him go check the daycare for Sun as infected or not the poor thing would be scared shitless for his brother. Especially since he isn’t sure if Sun can even leave the daycare, or if that restriction is gone. Even if it is gone there’s no way Sun knows his way around well. And thus leads to the discovery of Sun.

Infected Sun is stored in the garage just like Infected Moon, though Moon asks if they can keep the lights on at least somewhat in the garage. He’s really apologetic yet persistent in saying that it’s a necessity. 

When Sun first woke up he had no idea Moon was there with him because Moon still couldn’t walk well and was somewhat avoiding the garage... until he heard Sun garbling out panicked static. Then he came to check on him, and Sun shut up immediately upon seeing him. Moon immediately started apologizing as he thought initially that Sun would be mad at him and think he left him to die in the daycare, but Sun was just way too relieved to give a shit about all of that. He was so sure Moon was dead and got hit in the face with the fact that despite his behavior he really did care about Moon, and now was too late to do anything about it. He thought Moon had died thinking Sun hated him and that scared him so much more then he thought it would. He just hugged him. Aaaand then picked him up XD
