That is a really cool concept! Kind of reminds me those cordyceps mushrooms taking over insects and piloting them around. Pretty freaky stuff in the best way possible.

..Path of Alfheim: Chapter V outfit concept..

I wanted to illustrate how I imagined the FMC dressed during the feast in chapter 5.

I'm a sucker for loose tunics and leather corsets and a lot of my original characters tend to include these items in their wardrobe.

With that being said, this version of the reader is a bit more female-presenting in comparison to the assassin version I've designed. While the fan-fiction does tag the protagonist as female I understand if someone may not, explicitly, like to show off their more feminine features. It's something that I, personally, experience from time to time.

While these character/outfit illustartions are created to my own liking and preferences I want to keep up with the more androgynous concepts since some readers relate to my designs. (Which I appreciate so much!) (シ_ _)シ

Here's my sketches of Mc in their vigilante persona and some notes:

So MC has two versions of their costume but the same base

Base costume: Casual hoodie and normal pants (not jeans, more like sweat pants, or leggings, or any fabric that isn't jeans). Sturdy shoes or sneakers. Long sleeve undershirt that includes gloves.

Patrol Costume: Base costume but with a surgical mask and sun glasses (but goggles so they don't fall off during crime fighting.) Intended to blend into crowds.

Vigilante Costume: Base costume with a thin ski mask to hide hair and a mask (shown above) The mask would conform to your face shape.

I don't really keep a certain body shape in mind for the reader because. It's the reader.

Also no Canon gender I don't really include that. Arlo is pansexual and Zenith is demisexual.

As for MC's powers:

MC hasn't had any formal training so the extent of their powers so far is limited. There's very few safe spaces to train and MC is busy with civilian work, and hero work, and kissing the local hot librarian.

But the MC's power is: Shadow Manipulation.

Top left is Macho, middle top is Kit, top right is Leo, bottom left is Tejon and bottom right is Faks.
