Keeping The Momentum Going…

Over the course of the last several weeks, or even months I guess, I have heard numerous financial reports on how the economy is on a slow track to recovery. We are definitely in a growth mode, just not very fast! Predictions have been made that growth would be over 3% this year, then we had a rather harsh winter blast that seemed to throw everything backwards. Now growth in the first quarter was…

Yeah, you were alright. We got on okay most of the time. Yeah I guess we did. You were my timekeeper; I never could be bothered to get an actual watch.

You know all my secrets and private conversations, they were meant to be between them and me but you were always stuck right there in the middle. I didn’t mind though, I could trust you. You wouldn’t tell anyone, I knew you wouldn’t.

We had our ups, and yeah you gave me a feeling of comfort much of the time but you also really knew how to piss me off. You’d suddenly become slippery like ice and fall out of my hand for no reason. Was it really that hard to stay in one place for so long?

You always seemed to run away and hide under something I hadn’t picked up for months so you knew I couldn’t find you. Then when I didn’t need any distractions and when I was busy and needed to get away from you, you called for my attention. Sometimes I didn’t care if you needed your battery re-charged, your battery probably wouldn’t run down so quickly if you didn’t keep reminding me!
