@rcvcrics || peridot Hutch was cleaning up for the night, and getting ready to head home after a long day of work, when he heard the bell above his door jingle. Of course, he forgot to lock the door. "We're closed!" He called in an annoyed tone from the back room. He was never one to care about being friendly with his customers. They came in, got the meat they wanted, and left. No need for niceties. He didn't hear the bell ring again, indicating the person had left, so he came out. Rubbing his hands on a towel, he spoke, "Listen, I know I forgot to lock the door, but I would hope that you're able to read the closing time." He said without looking up. Hutch finally threw the towel down after cleaning his hands and looked up. He froze, and words caught in his throat. Was it really her? "Peridot?" He asked in disbelief. A brief smile flashed on his lips before returning to his usual neutral expression. "Is this a trick? Are you really here?"
