#rc!event

For this event, I’ve used a randomized team generator to create pairs. The pairs are as follows:

Blaine ( @nycbdanderson​ ) & Puck ( @xpuckermanx​ )

Sam ( @nycsam​ ) & Rachel ( @starringrachel​ )

Kurt ( @khummels ) & Tina ( @lawyertcc )

The goal is to write a para with the person you’re paired up with detailing how the two characters came to be stuck together and what unfolded during the blackout! Maybe your character panics. Maybe they’re worked up because they have somewhere to be. Maybe they’re pumped because any time spent here is an hour they’re not at work. And maybe whatever it is, they’re going to unload it all on whoever happens to be sitting next to them.

So that everyone is on the same page, we’re going to say the blackout lasts a total of about an hour. Your characters’ time together could be as eventful, boring, awkward, amazing, terrible, etc. as you can imagine.

If you need some ideas about where they might end up stuck together, I’ve come up with a few suggestions to get you started:

On the subway

In an elevator

In a tiny local bookstore/coffee shop

Someone’s apartment/house

In a taxi/car going through a (now very dark) tunnel

A theatre

A very enclosed space like a closet for some reason

Get creative!

Remember that this is just for fun; it’s simply a writing exercise to encourage further interaction with everybody, so nothing incredibly eventful has to occur. Hopefully characters just get to know each other a little more — for better or worse.
