My partner made his first thrown ceramic and we're not sure what to do with it.
For now it's a frog spa.

Dragonfly Bandana
[Pattern | Project]
Finished the dragonfly bandana last week (just in time to gift it to the recipient before our big family camping trip).
The yarn was a yarn mop for one of my variegated experiments. The pattern was pretty easy (especially once I started marking out where the common holes would be with stitch markers), but the written part was off in its stitch count, so if you end up doing this I'd recommend following the chart instead.

Stashbustin' Slips
These are very cozy slippers and helped me stashbust at least 2 bits of yarn I wasn't sure what to do with.
Unfortunately, (at least for my partner and me) we wore through the soles very fast. I would consider eventually investing in leather soles to improve the longevity, and hope to get around to mending them in the meantime, but my partner and I ultimately decided to purchase hard-soled slippers in the mean time.

Alaska Hat(s)
As you might know, I have a weird obsession with this pattern and have done this a few times, so I'm combining the first couple...
I think my first (the left) was my favorite color combination, but I gifted it to someone who doesn't use it anymore and who refuses to give it back...
I still have my autumn version and might continue to switch it up with my new watermelon version some...

"Birthday Hats"
My family surprised us by visiting around my cousins' birthdays, so I wanted to quickly throw together a knit gift for them.
And for some reason I thought colorwork would go faster.
In a way it did, I think beautiful colorwork patterns are great motivators. But also it was so hard to part with this hat, I used such cozy yarn and it haunts me that I gave it away. π
This was a little more mottled than the dinosaur hat, but also this cousin wasn't as extra as his brother, so I don't think he minded the muted motif so much..

Colorwork Leaf Coasters
My first time trying 3 colors in colorwork and learning how to embroider (to varying degrees of success. I ended up sewing felt backings to them and they still get a lot of use. I'm hoping to make some more coasters because I do really like the size of these (and we often have friends over with multiple drinks π ).
