5. What’s a fic idea you’ve had that you will never write?

Oh, this is tough, because I believe in never saying never... Although, I did have an idea for a Loki fic that would take place after the Thanos snap, but in the end I scrapped it as being too dark and not something I really wanted to write after all. So, that? 🤣

13. How much planning do you do before writing?

Almost none, I pants my stories so I rarely know more than the hero and heroine's names and the main conflict. Everything else happens as it happens and more often than not, I'm left going, "I didn't see THAT coming!"

18. What’s one of your favorite lines you’ve written in a fic?

Oh, no... this is like picking a favorite fic or favorite child! :) But, one that I've gotten a lot of comments on came from Brilliant Disguise, -

“I hope so. But,” Thorin shrugged, “I suppose we’ll find out soon enough, won’t we? But, do me a favor?” “What’s that?” “Stay quiet and let me do the talking.” “Right, because yer far more diplomatic than me.” Dwalin rolled his eyes.  “Point taken, but still.” “Of course, Thorin. I’ll just stand here and look menacing.” “Perfect.”

Would you ever write a crossover fic? Two different fandoms, same fic, that kind of stuff! (And if you have already and I didn’t see it, would you write it again?) 💜

As usual, I am a day late but here they are...

78. What motivates you during the writing process?

It all depends on what I'm writing. Sometimes, it's music, sometimes it's a movie. When I was working on Where I Belong, I had to watch both Desolation of Smaug and Battle of the Five Armies because I had to make sure I had it as close to the movie as possible. Other times, it's just the absolute need to finish the story because I've reached the point where I am just done with it and want to kill off everyone in it because I've had it with them, LOL

79. Do you have any writing advice you want to share?

The best advice I've ever gotten was write the story you want to read and give yourself permission to write crap. That's what revisions are for. For me, the second one is the hardest thing to learn as a writer, because I'm a perfectionist, but I've had to basically teach myself to just get words down, no matter how dull they might seem at the time. I can fix crap, I can't fix a blank page.

Lime Green: Your favourite kind of scene to write:

Oh, my favorite scene to write is one where the characters are feeling playful with one another, whether or it leads to a love scene, a fight scene. Especially if there is already history between them.

Forest Green: What’s your favourite genre to write?

“I need to put distance between myself and marriage-minded hopefuls.”

Balin chuckled. “They all know about you and Miss Asharm. And now visions of weddings and babies are filling heads throughout Erebor. Many of them would give their eyeteeth to give you bairns.”

“Oh, not you, too.” Thorin sighed softly as he leaned against a wooden worktable along the wall. “Dís thinks I should simply choose one and get started on those babies.”
