Starting inks for a comic that I'm working on with with Gino Barzizza and his Hungry Fire Workshop. Using Ray Frenden's inking brush set, which is pretty damn nice! Thanks to John for introducing me to it :)

Ray Frenden's new Manga Studio Brushes and I are going to get along juuuussst finnneee.
As always, my motto remains: "When in doubt, draw a monster."
Trying out one of the new Frenden brushes for Manga Studio 5 I got  recently, this one was the Grease Pencil. My random swirly lines eventually defined a shape and the texture of the tool suggested  a texture for the creature's skin. And I really dig how much depth I was able to squeeze out two colors and a grey background.
