John Wayne was a the son of Swedish immigrants whose real name was Marion Morrison. He was known as the Duke. He made a movie that relates to the child trafficking going on now. It is called The Searchers. It's a classic about a kidnapped girl that is forced to live with savages. The original tribes were savage by western standards. If young people would watch westerns, they'd see how when America was settled by first Pilgrims and later pioneers, there was a clash of civilizations. When the Iron Horse (trains) started going across the Wild West, the Native tribes became hostile. Some became friends with the settlers.

Jeffrey Hunter, was in The Searchers. Hunter played Captain Pike in the first Star Trek Episode. Natalie Wood who starred in West Side Story later, played the kidnapped girl in The Searchers. John Wayne was a patriot and loved America. A real Yankee Doodle Dandy. In fact his co-star in The Quiet Man, and many movies, Maureen O'Hara (from Ireland) petitioned to have simply the words "John Wayne-American" be put on his tombstone.

It occurred to me that the lyrics to the song Yankee Doodle were odd-Yankee Doodle came to town riding on a pony, stuck a feather in his hat and called in macaroni. The people at the time of the Civil War did not even know about macaroni as the exodus by Italians from war torn Europe had not happened yet. What a strange lyric to put in a song. Just to be on the safe side, because I am a little superstitious (that's the Scots Irish in me), I put John Wayne riding on a pony with a feather in his hat. My hope is that it breaks the dark spell our nation has been under since after WW 2 and on turbo since Clintons, Obama and Biden. I also did the same (a feather) to the skateboarder's cap.That's supposed to be Michael J. Fox who was in Back To The Future which is a movie with many clues, foreshadowing of future events and subliminal meaning.

Rawhide Ranch has a therapy program for autistic and disabled kids and a vaulting program where campers learn to do stunts and vaulting on horses. The autism programs are therapeutic and are great confidence builders. Campers from all over the world come to Rawhide Ranch to learn about animal care, science, newspaper creation, riding, hard work, fun, swimming, art music and teamwork. Photos of John Wayne are in the arena barn. The folks that work there are the cream of the crop and as right as rain.

Rawhide Ranch Scholarship Fund for in need and rescued kids. Due to the lock down, the Rawhide Ranch was not able to take campers and now has a waiting list. They need to hire more staff for the camp but have been severely effected for over a year. with the lock down in CA. \
