the night ended wonderfully, in sayu's opinion. initially, she was worried there'd be uncomfortable moments where somebody might recognize her and try taking her away in the middle of her date with kioshi - even go as far as to try going after him - but color her surprised. yes, some had spotted her but were very respectful which only made her more jovial than she usually is. call this date a successful one!

So I went with both.” As much as Kiyoshi believed that it wasn’t good enough, the bag of goodies he made for the other raven was well-made. He could only muster a little smile as he presented it to her. “Happy White Day, Sayu.”

truthfully, kioshi didn't need to do anything. of course, that was just sayu and her own preferences when it came to white day. being ever so modest, she'd want nothing more but to spend time with her beloved. even so, with the gentlest smile, she'd accept the little bag which contains two types of chocolate - both of which she loved the most - and opened it carefully. ❛ that's so sweet of you, kio...~ ❜ before he'd say anything, sayu leans in to press kisses all over his face thus leaving lipstick marks all over. the sight made her giggle before pressing one more kiss on kioshi's lips, this time more lingering, to show her gratitude. not just for this but for everything else. ❛ thank you...seriously, you're the best. a-ah, why don't we share these? i'd hate to eat in front of you. ❜

"Is there anything else you want to do for your birthday today, Leelee?" Despite his presence to be with her on this special, the raven felt he could do more for her, aside from cake and all. "Name anything, and I'll gladly do it."

─「リナリー」─  it was a MIRACLE enough for the exorcist to be able to celebrate her birthday with someone she loves instead of being out on a mission. amethyst hues sparkled in absolute delight when she was granted a permission to leave THE ORDER for the day ( despite a complaint and grumbling of her older brother who wanted her all to himself for the day, to which she promised she would be back to spend it with him later. )

                " kioshi-san ... you've already given me the best gift of all, you know that, right ? " sometimes, she wondered if she had said it enough how his presence was more than enough for her to go on fighting day after day. if he realized at all what kind of miracle he was just to be that beacon of light and reason for her to fight and survive in the endless war.

                while the cake he surprised her with was WONDERFUL, how her hands came to take his own and brought them to her lips spoke how much she was yearning for a simple day like this, or something casual and domestic. when you had to risk your life every single day, she was looking forward to a peaceful time away from the harsh reality outside.

                a tender kiss to his knuckle before she lifted her head, and her expression mellowed in a genuine content smile.

─「オランピア」─  THE WHITE had heard about the day of love before, several times in fact, but she never actually get a chance to experience it for what it is. she read many books and stories surrounding it, however. the day where couples would profess their love for each other, or the day when one would confess their feeling to the one they chose. it was supposed to be a special day spent with your special one, that was why she couldn't help her cheeks tinting in a deeper hue of red at this application.

                " stargazing in the park ... that sounds wonderful. " if anything, being with him would be more than enough for it to be called a perfect date. that was the point of it, right ? as long as you're with the one your heart belongs to, then that's all that matters. her hand reached out for his, fingers squeezing his own quietly as her whole expression mellowed in affection. " i want to be with you too. forever it is. "

He smiled, his hand began stroking the other raven’s face. ❛ I promise you … no matter what happens, I’ll still love you. And I’ll keep on loving you and be by your side. Because that’s how much you mean to me. ❜

Without a second thought, he pressed a kiss against her ever so soft lips. ❛ Happy Birthday, Sayu. ❜

sayu is quiet while kioshi kept speaking  from the heart, obvious by both their cheeks turning redder each passing second. more and more, she had an urge to quiet him with a kiss but chose not to, seeing that he was pretty adamant on saying everything. frankly, she wasn’t sure if she’d even be here if it weren’t for kioshi’s stubbornness with dissolving through cracks and fixing what was broken. for that, sayu would be more than grateful for ... after all, both were broken but complete in each other’s arms.  

the hand isn’t rejected upon her face, albeit her slight shudder at cold touch, and even held onto by her own hand which was softer and dainty unlike kioshi’s. his lips, too, wouldn’t be rejected ... no, no, this wouldn’t be enough. without any hesitation, she moved to press her lips against his for one more kiss.
