the basic plot: instead of Chell being awoken for Portal 2, Douglas Rattman is instead he goes through the events of Portal 2, escapes to the outside, and begins to wander towards the nearest city before he can get there, he's intercepted by Barney Calhoun as he's patrolling the White Forest Barney takes him back to Black Mesa East, and after some convincing, Doug and some others go back to Aperture to save Chell
