Theyâre in that early stage of their relationship where they just want to try everything and anything together. Itâs not just in the bedroom either, itâs just whatever comes to mind - both of them are game. Their enthusiasm must be doubled due to the fact theyâd spent so long not doing things together.Â
Annie was sure there was a point last year where they could both barely stay in the same room together; Jeff finding hard to deal with his emotions and Annie finding it hard to handle hers. They were like magnets of the same pole, she now realises. Now though, theyâre not the same; theyâre north and south and all over each other.Â
âWe should⌠tryâŚâ
Jeff bobs his head, tilting it all the while to get a better angle so he can continue his trail down her neck. Theyâre pushed up on the wall to the side of his front door; heâd taken her to stock up on some groceries but theyâd spent most of the time trying to steal kisses down empty aisles so they both knew what was coming when they opened the apartment door.Â

Heâs picked her up before. Countless times now, which makes Annieâs brain go even foggier than it already is in the moment. She canât even count how many times theyâve done this and itâs barely been three weeks. It sends an unexpected thrill through her that she has to press up against him even further, her ankles curling up around his calves.Â

She tries to direct him into hoisting her up onto his hips but heâs too focused on fumbling around with the back of her blouse where buttons are keeping it fastened at the neck.Â
âJeff, I canâtâŚâ
She uses her hands in his hair to try and manoeuvre him into a better holding position but heâs a little bit stiff (which makes her glance down, embarrassingly enough), most definitely getting something out of the position he is in, rather than focusing on her. Itâs fine, heâs even made it clear he might be off of his game for a while - his hands still shake a little when he goes to undo his belt buckle or when he tries to unclip her bra. She finds it all very endearing, and sweet and it makes her fall in love with him a little bit more.Â
She goes to laugh breathily in his hear when his hand tickles up her back but then she leans into his shoulder too far and all of a sudden her tooth is digging into his neck and heâs slamming back down into the carpet.Â
âHoly... shit. Okay, well, that just happened.â
Although she was laughing for a different reason originally, it carries on out of her and she can feel him sigh and shake his head from where sheâs laying across his chest, her hand squashed between them.Â
âHa haa, very funny.â
She smiles up at him through a wave of hair and her eyelashes.Â
âIf my hand didnât feel numb now, you know, this might be an easier position.â
âWho said you have to use your hands.â
âOhh pfft, like youâre in the mood now. You were saying your back ached after the gym yesterday.â
âI lifted like 310 pounds!â
âJeff, how much do I weigh?â
âShut up.â
She kisses him on the chest, pats him in the same place and then rolls off to one side.Â

He starts off a little confused when Mason swings his legs around and drops into the barstool next to him, his date seemingly left behind.
âWhere did your⌠openly biâŚsexual date go?â
âEh, we didnât really hit it off. I donât always ask people out to hook-up.â
Jack nods at that, relating, before taking a sip of his beer. Heâll probably hang around until Eddieâs closed up so he can go upstairs without worrying if anyone will follow.
âJack, can I ask you a question?â Mason asks, with the premise and tone of a question that is meant to be more of a challenge. Jack sits up a little, holding his beer tighter. Itâs been a strange day even if Paul was returned to his loved-one and Roland did end up bonding with him.
âIs it about being straight?â He grins with usual sarcastic and devilish charm.
âNo, itâs about being bi.â
