Ok so.. Shelly was one of the humans who got taken by Topaz and Aquamarine and then went to see the off colors with Steven and Lars.
She works as an astronaut throughout seasons 1-beginning of 5 and then gets fired during “Change Your Mind” because she didn’t follow the rules. She then works as a doggy daycare worker during the movie + future.
Shelly protected only Rhodonite from the robonoids, meanwhile Lars protected the others and destroyed them all. Still dying like normal which makes Shelly and Steven upset.
Around the time that Connie is said to go to Space camp in the movie, I feel like they’d mention Shelly getting FIRED as an astronaut.
Shelly breaks up with Jamie during Love Letters, because he was seen writing letters to Garnet. She breaks up with him right before Jamie’s dramatic speech about “One more rejection breaking his heart”.
As an astronaut, Shelly mentions her love for animals a lot! Maybe she could have a house with a shit load of cats and dogs and one crab named Ammonite.
Shelly lets Rhodonite borrow her phone a bunch. She also has Steven, Connie, Lars, and Garnet all as contacts because I feel like we’d all be friends! She also has Ronaldo as a contact but she doesn't even reply to him because she's easily irritated by people spamming nonsense to her. Her and Steven would probably bond over both having Ronaldo as a contact but not responding to him LMAOOOO!
Shelly would probably appear every so often in the SU movie trying to help. Also maybe her and the gang are all hanging out before they decide to go to the rock show. I feel like Rhodonite has my phone during this moment as well so she’d probably ask Steven where the heck I am, and that she’s waiting for me at the rock show HELPPP.
During Lars' Head, Shelly decides to go to Earth with Steven and tells Lars to PLEASE keep the off colors safe! She stays home and already heavily misses Rhodonite, but she doesn't wanna go back to homeworld and wants to take a long break.
Whenever Rhodonite was venting about a little bit of her story to Steven and Lars during Off Colors, I feel like during this scene I'd just be listening to her ramble and then try to comfort her. I'd also probably be like “I care about you no matter what!!!” or some shit.
Once deciding to visit Lars again, Shelly kneels down next to Rhodonite a lot in the Sun incinerator watching her do her thing…. Not in a creepy way, because by this time we're probably getting closer and closer with each other LOL! So she'd enjoy my company if anything! I'm probably confessing that I kinda like her while on the sun incinerator too! I'd like to think Lars keeps me around as well because he'd need extra help, so that's why I'm not on Earth after that HELPPPP!
Shelly and Rhodonite began dating during Change Your Mind and the movie, and then began planning a wedding during Future! So basically, Shelly’s future wife sees her get fired 😭😭😭
Shelly is super embarrassed about getting fired in front of everyone, but Steven’s song near the end of Change Your Mind cheers her up a ton!
In the movie when she sees the rejuvenator, she'd probably be curious on what it is but then freaking out once they explain to her what it does to gems and humans.
