Raspberry Rain: just not that special
Oh ye gods!
I've known for months about the razor, & about Jessica Williams, but I didn't know about the workshops. And there's this virtual outfit, which is getting scarily close to WHAT I DO, although I was a little relieved it is at least Second Life, not a DAZ figure outfit.
And I find this after I'd pretty much made peace with using the name "Raspberry Rain" for the comic.
The workshops bug me. I don't want to disrespect their trademark--not that any of us can claim much of a trademark, since half a dozen people are using the phrase!
I don't love the phrase as the name of the comic anyway. I started out thinking I could sign my stuff "niauropsaka," and I didn't have another overarching name for my work. "Raspberry Rain" was a way of finding an English equivalent to my difficult, obscure, bunch-of-vowels-in-a-row name, but it started out as a placeholder.
Since using it for VDSD, I'd accepted it. Then I googled it again tonight.
I could change it to Raspberry Raindrops, and/or change the word order. "Raindrop Raspberry" may make as much sense as a translation of Νιαουροψάκα anyway.
"Raspberry Drizzle" sounds like something to do with baking.
Or maybe I need to give up on "raspberry" in the comic title.
Brambleberry Rain?
Brambleshower?
Or, since I'm using a non-indicative name, maybe something really out there.
"The Language of Horses and the Language of Ducks"
"Adventures in the Key of Ampersand"
"Navigator of Brambles"
"That Pink Comic"
"No Due Diligence"
This really bugs me. I want some feedback. Somebody help me please?
