Double Standard Bullshit
My precedent has been set: business owners denying services based on religious or personal conflicts seems counterproductive when it comes to surviving in our capitalistic society. I find myself siding with those fighting this discrimination, particularly the homosexual community and all of the drama associated with their situation. So here I am, levying against ignorance and an article comes out about two gay hoteliers apologizing for hosting an event for Ted Cruz (certainly not a man working for equal rights for homosexuals).
“I am shaken to my bones by the e-mails, texts, postings and phone calls of the past few days,” Ian Reisner, one of the hoteliers, wrote on Facebook. “I was ignorant, naive and much too quick in accepting a request to co-host a dinner with Cruz at my home without taking the time to completely understand all of his positions on gay rights.”
What is it that you think he should have done; turn down the event because of his personal beliefs? That sounds incredibly familiar, you fucking hypocrites. This would be called “having your cake and eating it, too.” You want the nation to stand behind you as you fight intolerance, appealing for equal treatment yet you chastise a business owner for making a profit hosting an event for someone who disagrees with your convictions? Fuck you. Fuck each and every one of you responsible for all of the “e-mails, texts, postings, and phone calls” to this fucking guy who owns a business and sold his product to someone, regardless of his personal beliefs.
LGBT cry babies will make an argument that it is different; that turning someone down because they are gay is different than turning someone down because they hate gay’s. News flash: it’s not different and it is just as damaging to this country as any other form of discrimination. I despise the ignorance of a pizza shop owner who won’t sell pizzas to people if their gay just as much as I despise the hotelier that would refuse business based on someone hating gay people… or anyone else for that matter. People need to check their personal drama at the door and stop allowing it to affect their business practices. Clearly you don’t like it when people do it to you, why should it be okay the other way around??? FUCK!
Not Saying I Condone This...
But I think I'd like to see it done at least one time. Ya know, just to see if and how it actually works.
