ffs i'm doing a (mandatory) uni course on work life, expertise, fucking dynamic skills idk that type of shit. this is grouped with actually interesting courses in my major (glad it's only the bachelor's and i've been able to choose a lot of interesting courses mostly and i can leave this crap behind once i move onto masters). for some reason the second course of this sort included a task that's very much not inclusive in practice and it highlighted my lacking work history and such (and i don't have it bc i've had years of mh shit, great). and i'm facing the same shit all over again and i'm sat here wondering if the hr ass people teaching these courses have no idea that different people exist and maybe all of us haven't had the chance to do "normal" shit like "normal people". or that some of us went to comprehensive school in a different time quite a while ago and/or haven't had any hobbies other than sitting at home drawing meticulously crafted drawings (bc of parents, lacking money etc.).
i have to pull something out of my ass and just flat out lie (which is what i did last time, you know, time well spent). great.
this is kind of weird ranting about this without sharing any details of the assignment but like trust me bro, the middle-class etc. norms are biting my ankles again (fortunately this doesn't happen too often in my major, but it sure is fascinating it's the hr type of courses where it keeps happening).
Well. Today has fucking sucked. Thanks 2016, couldn't even let me have a decent Christmas.
