i am part of a guild, yes. In the UK there is a Weavers, Spinners and Dyers Guild and there are local chapters for nearly each county and so i am part of my local chapter. i joined in november and despite being the youngest by a wide margin, everyone is so welcoming and enthusiastic. it does feel very medieval or fantasy whenever i mention the guild to people; i really like it. if i could i would live in a medieval fantasy world all the time

this fibre was the mossy yarn i was spinning the other week. i was gifted it just after my top surgery but only just got to spinning it and i am so happy with the colours. it is merino and corridale wool, with silk and lotus fibres
spinning the forest floor, moss and all
