Okay, I got a Jeff headcannon for you guys:
We all know Jeff doesn't like people touching/taking his knives. He gets rather angry when he does, but typically, he calms down after a while. However, there's ONE knife that you don't touch.
It's a switchblade knife that has seen better and brighter days. The wooden handle is soaked with dried blood. Randy's name is carved into the handle, but its fading by now. It has chips in it. The metal of the blade is scratched up, even chipped. But Jeff has kept it sharp all of these years.
Why does he keep it? Doesn't it hold bad memories?
Yes, but it's also a trophy. Jeff was bullied by this incompetent being with his cronies. It is a physical trophy that he retained from that day—that damned birthday party. Jeff survived what those petty kids thought would kill him.
The minute it's not in his pocket, Jeff starts to lose it. He's tearing everything apart. He's threatening people.
Jane, who wants nothing to do with the crazy bastard, even tries to help because she sees that 13 year old boy that was set on fire.
Liu, who knows how Randy treated them, tries his best to calm him down, trying to reassure him that he probably left it in bed or in the bathroom after a shower (if he showered that day). Sully typically fronts after a while because Jeff starts getting hostile. The killer wants his damn knife back and he knew someone took it.
Masky/Tim and Hoodie/Brian have the responsibility of making sure Jeff doesn't actually kill anyone. Sometimes, they evacuate the area using a discrete code so Jeff doesn't know/understand what's going on. They are in charge of "searching" the rooms, so Jeff isn't going in everyone's room and tearing everything apart to look for something that probably isn't there. Jeff gets to watch the process, so he knows that they're actually searching.
When this first happened, Slenderman got pissed because Jeff nearly killed one of the proxies over it, and it ended up being in his old pants in the wash. He established the above rule, and frankly it goes for any of the pastas in a psychotic meltdown. Each one has their own protocol.
If it turns up, he'll get a little huffy and sulk, but he'll stop trying to wreck everything and everyone in his path. He'll clean up quietly. Don't tell him that you were right that "it would show up". He's still teetering on the edge and would probably end up hurting you somehow. Or thinking you took it and put it in said spot it was found and try to kill you anyway.
if you're the one who took it to do whatever with it, you have an 89% chance of being killed on the spot if he can help it. If not, you're on his shit list.
While Jeff doesn't really get that worked up over his other knives, this one is special to him. More special than the kitchen knife that he killed his parents with. So it's in your best interest to not take that knife that has a name carved into it or any of his knives. Jeff doesn't take people disrespecting his personal space and belongings very well.
