Heart beat.

Drop of sweat.

Panicked noise.

Start to fret.

I was tagged by @all-bridges-will-burn (*disgruntled muttering*) The other wizards didn’t seem to mind the clothing choice.

The other wizards didn’t seem to mind the conditions in which they would be staying.

The other wizards were perfectly content—happy, even—to give up the power and ease of their lives to join injured muggles in their depressing towns to help them. To heal them.

The cold bites late in the evening. Its harsh winds threatening the evening travelers. What do they have to gain from stumbling through the cold and dark? As dogs bark and howl at the moon? What is the purpose of this midnight run? Who are these travelers? A bar man? Executrix?  And a detective? You tell me what type of misfortunes have been afoot should this be the cast carousing together through the dark of night. What concessions were made to get here?

A wealthy soprano appreciates the embrace of the crowd. Their performance a mere distraction from the ongoing war. Hunting for unity, and a peaceful outlook for the future, They act as the salesperson, If not the spokesperson for the conglomerate.

Ten ants marching up the gangway. Sailors set for the great beyond. Far from their country they will go. Tenants in a new land, they grieve a home long gone. Stretching their legs on seas high and mighty, Forever thinking of home. The heat of the sun on their heads, Sworn oaths binding, They’ll set sail again. Ten ants marching off their ship of old. Ten ants marching, leaflets in their hold. Ten ants sailed off into the sun. Ten ants home again, grief forever gone.

The disposition of the common econobox owner is one of responsibility and frugality. They are likely to minimize activities such as their water use and to follow new technology they could leverage to both decrease their carbon footprint by the pound and their overhead costs attributed to survival. It may seem trivial to some, but pound for pound, some day it will be worth it. By continuing to track  their progress and assess their activities impacts on the surrounding environment, their efforts will compound. In the short term, these efforts may seem excessive, however their preferences over the long term can contribute to formative change.

A wolf masked in a pasture may one day reveal itself to the flock. Species normally poles apart brought together for the simple pleasure of a meal. However, by developing a strong rapport with its potential victims, it can provide for itself indefinitely. Small concessions now in its appearance and mannerisms will lead to a lifetime supply of food. It will never hunger. Instead of quarrelling with the flock and farmers, by integrating in undercover and building trust, none of the flock members or its protectors would ever or could ever believe that the wolf was a wolf. By achieving the status of “upstanding” member of the community, the wolf assures that it will never be questioned. No fingers pointed its way, allowing it to continue to cull the flock of its most vulnerable members. The young and weak, the most trusting, the ones who won’t be missed. It’s a wonder that for years the wolf has never been discovered.
