oh but thats also sad because izuku probably talked at length about how bullied he was and how mean everyone was, especially his former childhood best friend and its all of his unfiltered thoughts bc he doesnt need to filter them around online people. and it was izuku unknowingly talking to katsuki about how horribly he treated him. and now bakugo /knows/

I feel like pre-UA, when the bullying was at itās worst, BakugouĀ and Midoriya only knew each otherās usernames in passing, from liking each otherās posts or getting into the occasionalĀ argument about theories (or teaming up against other peopleās stupid theories), but they werenāt really friends. Until they formed a proper group and started chatting online, a few months before Midoriya met All Might
They werenāt close enough to reveal that kind of information until they were both in UA - and at that point, I think Bakugou needs to be aware of (and is already starting to realise on his own) how badly heās been acting. He doesnāt know itās Midoriya, but some of the things this username he respects has been saying hits too close to home, and makes him really think
So by the time the reveal eventually does come about when theyāre older, their toxic past has been cleared up and Bakugou has already begun to make amendsĀ
