more music search replies! this is getting long so im gonna throw it under a cut @vanesquick @randomsfandom @lesyaholmes @occupy-gallifrey @reysfamily
The Brother's Drake by Henry Jackman seems like it might be a tad closer, or Sic Parvis Magna also by him, but that might be slightly too dark? There's also Into Eternity by Brian Tyler but i know you said you didn't want the female vocals, which that has, but it still might be around the neighborhood of what you're looking for?
There's also Your Father Would be Proud by Michael Giacchino but again that's probably too intense and actiony now that i think about it
Return to 'Mother by Alan Menken maybe? That may be slightly too sad, but it's still super pretty and not intense
OOOOO Hope (Xavier's Theme) by John Ottman, I think that's probably the closest I can find rn but now that I've gotten started I'm still gonna keep looking lol im so sorry
There's also Light of the Seven by Ramin Djawadi, but that might be a bit too slow or dark
OOOOR (I'm so so sorry) Tenuous Winners/Returning Home by james newton howard? and I'm guessing you've already heard Time by Hans Zimmer but don't want that one, lol. Young David by Jeff Russo?
Edward Leaves by Alexandre Desplat could also maybe be a contender but I doubt that's what you're looking for. There's also Break Up by Alexandre as well.
Dreamcatcher by Alexendre is also maybe possibly something
and I think my last try at least for tonight because I'm tired, Unraveling by Frida Johannson is a really good one, probably not quite the vibe that you're looking for tho and I'M SO SORRY FOR ALL OF THESE REPLIES
ah jackman my man, brothers drake is kinda close Sic Parvis Magna is rlly close i wish they were combined & had a rlly solid outro ;;;; also omfg i dont remember into eternity i just.. dont remember music from thor 1 at all but thats rlly good???not what im looking its too melancholy but still
Your Father Would Be Proud is too bright/hopeful/reminiscent, not enough epic melancholy, Return to Mother is too suspenseful towards the beginning
i like Hope (Xavier's Theme) Bookmarking that one, but i feel it gets too intense?? i feel the structure i want is more slow/epic/melancholy reflectiveness intenseness towards the beginning, and edging into something bittersweet/lighter with a sense of finality towards the end and omg this song is SO CLOSE if the latter half had more variation& exploration of the quiet finality it wouldve been perfect.....
light of the seven is a shade too dark, too many pauses, Djawadi always does such good stuff tho, yea ive already gone thru time not sure if the percussion is what im lookin for but i rlly love the outro that fits my outro requirements lol
young david doesnt work, edward leaves kidna devolves into a sound im def not looking for, break up doesnt work, dreamcatcher is too...delicate(?), unraveling is too sedate but omg thank you for all the recs!!!!!!!!
Into the Fray by Marc Streitenfeld or No Man's Land by Zack Hemsey?
into the fray is rlly good i wish some of the piano was strings or something... no mans land is nice but the progression doesnt fit what i need omg also that rap coming in the latter half
Young David by Jeff Russo
young david already recced, ill look up olafur if i have time
Harvey Two-Face from the TDK ost?
You could also try West across the ocean sea by Vangelis (from the 1492 ost)
harvey two face is too turbulent, west is way too peaceful/wistful haha
Moonlight from Four Sea Interludes by Benjamin Britten
doesnt quite fit what im looking for ty all anyways!!!
