I don't know about "found out" I was a pretty logical child, although I guess I stubbornly would believe in the real santa who was obviously too busy and had to outsource his labour for a couple of grades of elementary school, lol.

i believe that city council has a secret agenda to make me be able to get somewhere within fifteen minutes and somehow they're going to do this WITHOUT an electric fence and ninja star budget

An ask I had left languishing since November of 2023 (sorry!) - this was something I knew how to answer but I kept forgetting to check the results of Calgary's Hot Chocolate Festival until this year. Here are the winners! It seems Cal had a fondness for Mississippi Mud-style hot chocolates this year.

Calgary-area people- were you able to try any hot chocolates this past February? What were your favourites?

6. What do you use to keep your place when you’re reading a book?

as a kid i was a freak who would always forget to use bookmarks because i would just remember where i was in the story (or occasionally i would use the jacket)

but now i only read one thing at a time so i use a sonic bookmark that says Reading is Way Past Cool! :-)

19. What’s your favourite Halloween costume from when you were a kid?

hm the cat was always a classic. my most 'creative' costume was probably bastet (which was a combination of cat costume and some glittery gold fabrics from the craft store)

3. Do you like smoothies?

Yes but I'm very particular about them and I rarely go out of my way for them. I am a classic strawberry banana orange julius person I think but I have been known to put spinach in smoothies on occasion.

7. What colour dominates your closet? having just reorganized my drawers, haha, black unfortunately still dominates. I still wear a lot of clothes I got in high school and that's just how it is - upon further reflection it's like. I don't know if dysphoria is the right word, but I think the black was a combination of "the things i like only come in Boy and Boy is thankfully somewhat Shapeless Also" and also "i dont want people to look at me because they will Perceive Me". I've gotten better at combining black with other things and embracing more colours, but you can definitely see there are big toothless voids in the rainbow haha.

31. What’s the last music video you watched?

If the Junos count then it was that big Nickelback performance ahahaha.
