Portland's Fruition announces release of Meeting On The Mountain with the help of Grant Farm
FRUITION TEAMS UP WITH GRANT FARM TO RELEASE THEÂ MEETING ON THE MOUNTAINÂ EP
ALBUM AVAILABLE DIGITALLY TODAY AND ON TOUR DATES STARTING ON SEPTEMBER 25TH AT DENVERâS BLUEBIRD THEATER
PORTLAND, OR (September 23, 2014) â Ramblinâ troubadours Fruition are back with a new EP of whiskey-laced acoustic rock blended with elements of bluegrass and Americana. Meeting On The Mountain is a four-song EP written and performed by members of Fruition and Boulderâs Grant Farm. The album is available through all digital retailers starting today and will be out in physical form at Fruition and Grant Farm tour dates starting on September 25th at the Bluebird Theater in Denver, CO.  Meeting On The Mountain is Fruitionâs first release since Just One of Them Nights, the quintetâs July 2013 full-length studio release that saw itâs lead single âMountain Annieâ in regular rotation on Sirius/XM Jam On and inspired No Depression to exclaim, "This is how country music is supposed to sound.â The newest collection of songs is driven by classic rock rhythms, layered vocal harmonies and bluegrass instrumentation. The two bands will celebrate the release with a string of co-bill dates including an end-of-tour homecoming show for Fruition at Portlandâs Wonder Ballroom.  The two bands first met in 2011 when Fruition lugged their instruments into the snow and started busking outside of a Grant Farm show during a set-break. The stunt made an instant fan out of Tyler Grant, a National Flatpicking Champion, and his band who then brought Jay Cobb-Anderson out of the cold and onto the stage to play harmonica. Over the next few years, the two bands would run into each other at festivals and play onstage together whenever possible. This past summer, the friends found themselves with a few free days and an offer from engineer Andrew Lunsford to record at Kodak Lake Studio. Basic tracking was completed on the four songs in just one day. âRandom Leeâ (written by Fruitionâs Cobb-Anderson (vocals/guitar/harmonica), Mimi Naja (vocals/mandolin) and Kellen Asebroek(vocals/guitar/piano)) evokes the West Coast cool of Fleetwood Mac; âMeet Me On The Mountainâ (written by Anderson and Grant) conjures a laid back campfire sing-a-long vibe; âLazy Goldâ (Written by Grant and Naja) has the swagger of an in-the-pocket Allman Brothers jam flanked by a mellow harmonica interlude; and âSpliffâ (written by Naja) is a tongue-in-cheek Pacific Northwest ode to Woody Guthrieâs classic âCrawdad Song.â  Fruition is currently at work on their full-length follow-up to Just One of Them Nights, which peaked at #11 on the Soundscan Bluegrass chart.  For more information on Fruition, visit http://fruitionband.com/  For more information on Grant Farm, visit http://grantfarm.net/  For Media Use: Listen to âRandom Lee,â the first single from Meet Me On The Mountain - https://soundcloud.com/lucky-man-management/random-lee-by-fruition-and-the-grant-farm  For media requests, contact Crissa Requate ([email protected]) or Molly Kummerle ([email protected]) of Mason Jar Media (828-337-6002).  Fruition Tour Dates * Shows with Grant Farm  09/23 Lawrence, KS - The Bottleneck 09/25 - Denver, CO - Bluebird Theater* 09/26 Fort Collins, CO - Aggie Theatre 09/27 Colorado Springs, CO - Stargazers Theatre 09/28 Aspen, CO - Belly Up Aspen 10/09 Seattle, WA - Nectar Lounge* 10/11 Portland, OR - Wonder Ballroom* 1/6/15-1/11/15 Miami, FL - Jam Cruise 13  ###
i just really want to go back to london *rocks back and forth*
i remember the days where people were convinced allison would be possessed at the rave because her eyes seemed to flash because of the lights. so i'm really not going to hop onto this nogitsune bandwagon. i'll believe it when i see it. and even then i will be in denial tbh XD
in which lee makes a teen wolf prediction
so in the promo we see isaac being electrocuted (i think) and falling to the ground, with allison calling out her name. and though it's not shown in the promo, this is also going to be the episode in which we get a scallison hand holding moment. SO, i am thinking, isaac gets rolled off on that stretcher and winds up in the hospital, which makes allison sad for obvious reasons and that's why scott takes a hold of her hand, to reassure her. aww, i'm gonna sob now, bye.

i just found out that the next two weeks there is no reign, no arrow, no tomorrow people, no vampire diaries, no modern family and no chicago pd.. this is bad. very bad. and aos is on break till march!Â
though at least next week mmfd is back and star crossed begins, which i will check out.
i'm getting really sad, thinking that allison is going to die this season. do not want, i am not ready. i don't even want to think about it, it's so depressing for me. i'm gonna go cry myself to sleep now. good night.
