Let me get this straight.., you mean THOSE followers,

-The followers who are most definitely civilians, considering that is the majority of the population and the fact you're a superheroine.

The very civilians that are themselves vunerable to villain attacks, EVEN MORE SO now, considering the spike in villain activity shown on Arenque Noticias after your abscence.

To give up their lives? For YOU? A SUPERHEROINE? A SYMBOL OF JUSTICE? SOMEONE WHO IS TO PROTECT AND ENSURE THE COMMON MAN'S SAFETY?

What are they even supposed to DO? Even if they had the role to protect you, which they dont, WHAT TOOLS DO THEY HAVE AT THEIR DISPOSAL?? YOU, alone, hold the lisencing!

It's either they get plummeled by the villain themselves, and in the off chance they do win, get plummeled by police officers as they're escorted off to jail.

And I dont know about you folks, as a civilian myself, I don't look too forward to any of that. Dont look at me for help, I ain't doing SHIT.
