#random diary entry

It's been a long while since I've been wounded like a child who just learned to run and fell down for the first time. There's a bit of blood on my knee and a bit on my forehead. My knee feels a bit hot. I hope it doesn't scar but that same knee already had two scars from years ago so it doesn't really matter. I can't remember when or where I got the first one but the second one was me falling down a concrete slope like a rockstar— yes I was kneeling while falling down. I remember it because it was that iconic hahahahahaha... Anyways, I just realized that adults usually don't get such knee wounds so I kinda feel so careless. It's freaking painful and it's still bleeding a bit. There's a scratch wound on my other leg but I'm not really sure how I got that. I'm trying not to fold my knee much but I feel like I should let it fold to stretch the wound as it dries so it's not that painful later... I'm having a bit of a headache, most likely gonna be a migraine but it's unrelated since I usually get migraines on certain days of the month...

I was in the middle of deciding whether to drink coffee or not (yes I know it's 2am and I need sleep) but then I heard some noise of someone seemingly trying to open the door from the outside. I checked and it's locked inside. My grandma is also already in her room asleep. It would've probably been wiser to say something and ask who it is but I stayed quiet the whole time just watching the door. I could've opened the window and took a peak since it has a metal railing anyway but I didn't. The person eventually gave up after some time and I then decided to try seeing what's outside through the tinted glass window but the noise started again before I could. I went back to the table and decided to not prepare coffee anymore... The noise stopped again but I didn't dare go near the door anymore. It can't be opened anyway it seems. Plus the person probably didn't mean any harm? Maybe it's just someone drunk and got lost? Maybe it's just one of my uncles... I'm kinda confused as to why I just stood and stayed quiet. I should've made my presence known. What if they needed some help with something? But they didn't knock nor say anything either. Now that I think about it, maybe it's just my uncle's pet dog or my cousins' cats... Why don't they meow or bark hayst... I stood silent too so I guess that's make two of us...

I don't know why pero grabe kaayo akong hilak ganina jud... I tried so hard to calm my heart while going to the pharmacy ganina. Gaduko kay klaro kaayong gikan gahilak. Salamat sa concern kuya guard pero oa ra guro ko /hj. I don't really know why I couldn't stop myself from crying ganina. Even after gainom ug tubig, gasob gihapon ang but-an😭

Another month has gone by. I cannot tell if the year seems to passing by quickly or slowly for me, which I suppose is a good thing, because that means I’m distracted enough. Right now, I’m preparing for a possible trip to Montana in October. I’ve never flown before so I’m nervous. Not to mention I’ll be traveling alone, which is also making me a bit anxious.

I’m reading all the guidelines for what I CAN and CAN’T bring on the plane, how big can my carry-on be, and things of that nature.

I don’t really plan on bringing much. I plan on staying for 7 days, so the main objects I wish to carry and bring are clothes, my laptop, my camera, phone, a toothbrush, and deodorant. I want to pack as lightly as possible. 

We agreed that it was best not to work on any new material as we already have plenty that we need to get the rest of the band up to speed with.  Then we wrote two new songs.  Admittedly one of them was something Kieran and I had jammed last week, but I'd pretty much forgotten it until he brought it up again.  He's definitely become part of the writing process now, in fact both of tonight's songs began with him, with me taking more of a lead guitarist role than being a main songwriter, though I did give input to the arrangements.  I really like the tracks so far though, it's always nice to be creating.

Good, if slightly odd practice last night.  Got some decent work done on 'Lady Thinks The Blues', 'Fables' and 'Lone Star' with Jonny, really happy with how they're sounding now.  'Lady...' sounded particularly jangle-tastic with Kieran and I both playing clean Teles on the verses, first time we've done it properly with both guitars and drums.  Jonny had to go early and Steve could only arrive late, coming from a work's Christmas thing, so next we moved onto some jams with him, one of which was particularly fun.  It was a kind of Cure-esque post-punk, art-goth type thing or something like that, which actually has some potential if we can remember the essence of it.  Marie even wrote lyrics, so it may come to something in some form at least.  Probably best if I abandon the Robert Smith-Flanger sound though, cool as it sounded, it was definitely into rip-off territory.

  When Steve left the remaining trio of us went over the latest new songs, plugged in for the first time since they were written.  Still sounding good, I'm even more excited about getting them together with the others now, pretty sure they're going to rock when we do.
