The chocolate point sat tall, shoulders squared and tail laid stilly over dark paws. Though she tried to keep a stern demeanor, her whiskers quivered when Larkstar announced her new name. Ramstone. She couldn’t help but to purr at it. She peered around proudly as her fellow warriors cheered for her, and beamed at her denmates, Thunderstep and Lightningtail- perfectly fitting names for them, she thought. There was a small pang in her chest as she thought that her brother should be here, but she shoved it back. He’d passed on peacefully at least, and was hopefully watching over her now. Dipping her head to the leader, she moved back to nuzzle her mother warmly, glowing with warm pride from nose to tail-tip. With a small, assured smile, she moved to the camp entrance to take her place for their vigil. Blue gaze serious, she watched the sun sink down beyond the horizon, letting out a quiet sigh as she licked her maw, tongue running over the mostly-healed scars. Staring off in the direction of ShellClan’s territory, she again found herself wishing them well. The chaos, the deaths- whatever it was, was targeting both clans without bias, it seemed. She frowned a little, thinking back to Lilypaw. To Duskfall, Spidernose, even Crowstar. She feared for their future, more attacks, more lives lost- Steadying her quickening pulse, she steeled her gaze, watching the darkening sky and the rising moon. With a small smile, she inclined her head, a silent thanks for allowing her to make it this far. For being able to survive when so many hadn’t. Taking in a deep breath, she enjoyed the cooler night air, and kept vigilant watch over the darkening territory.
