admittedly i am a big fan of the player’s name being gordan, not that it was pre hlvrai, but as they got caught further into the game(s) they took on the name gordan because it felt realer at some point. specifically probably during the course of hlage, since the gnome kept referring to them as gordan rather than alyx, cementing them as GORDAN vs the player
