I haven't been on tumblr much so forgive me if you have already addressed this but... how is "Say You'll Remember Me" going? It's one of the first fics I've read (also honestly it's one of the things that introduced me to fanfic and the Jonerys fanfic world so thank you for that haha) and I'm really looking forward to see how the story will go with only 4 chapters left and all :) Thank you so much!
Wow, thank you! What an honor. The fic has not been going well recently, I won’t lie. I was kind of detached from writing at all for a long time. A lot of different reasons for that. BUT I’m feeling rejuvenated, happy, and rested, and I actually outlined a couple of future chapters over the weekend with one of my best friends while we were hanging out at the Con. So I’m finally, legitimately, truly working on an update this week. It means a lot to me that you still remember it after all this time. I started the fic before Jonerys was even canon or on screen together so to still have interest in it despite my snail’s writing pace is really heartwarming, and I’m truly sorry for always letting you guys down as readers. I want to write more, and faster, and I really hope you’ll like the direction it’s going. I won’t promise the HAPPIEST ending, but one day there may be a sequel and I want to leave that possibility open ;)
Hi! What Jonerys fics are you reading now or ones that you would recommend please? :) Also are there fics that have great "unburnt" scenes for Dany and Jon & everyone else is in awe? lol So far the only i know that has that is "Held Captive" :) Thank you so much!
ok first of all i’m so effing sorry for replying this late! and my reply is going to be annoyingly short, coz no way i remember all the fics i read, there are a LOT, trust me. i mostly prefer one shots though. Anyway, if you ask me my favorite right now, it’ll have to be ROYALTY by targaryenrestoration. It’s a work in progress though, but god, every time there’s an update I squeal. I love the rest of the work by the author too. As for smut, my favorite atm is BETWEEN THE RAINDROPS by notpmaHleM. But like I said, there are countless others and I wouldn’t be able to stop if I just started listing ‘em. The jonerys fandom truly has the most talented writers, I haven’t been this addicted to fanfiction, ever. Also, there are some amazing fics that update after a longgg time and it’s only when I see the update on ao3 that I realize how great that fic was and I check it out again. ^my top ones atm are fortunately those that update regularly (can’t thank the authors enough for that!), so do check ‘em out.
and as for the unburnt scenes, god there was this fic which had a scene that i absolutely LOVED. unfortunately, i can’t remember the name of the fic? it’s basically a scene where dany and jon are stuck at white harbor and one of the dany haters there decides to burn the place where the unsullied are staying. jon of course goes to the rescue but gets stuck, and dany kind of rescues him and saves the day. and then she unleashes her wrath upon the traitors. It’s pretty awesome. Please, if anyone remembers which fic I’m talking about please add on to this post. Unfortunately, this is a common side effect of having read too many fics, that I can’t remember which one was which lol. There are some sweet scenes of jon finding out dany is the unburnt as well in some fics. Like her holding her hand to a candle and then showing Jon how there are no scars and he’s mesmerized. Sorry I can’t be more helpful, I am absolutely terrible at remembering fic titles and remembering which scene was in which fic! :/
