Sooo, I have a random au idea for Kakashi (in whatever OTP you love). This may have been done already, but you know his nature type is lightning and how it's related to electricity and mechanics, etc., right? Well, what if he was a robot created by Sakumo Hatake, who raised and trained Kaka as his own. As he grows up, Kakashi meets -insert significant other- and learns about emotions, simple childish whims, and fluFFY FEELS (all while Sakumo takes pictures and fawns over his rather apathetic bby). Later on, Konoha or Akatsuki or whatever heard of this project and wanted Professor SH to make more machines and artificial lives for war/military/doom. BUT, Sakumo refused to let his life's work be used for some dastardly evil jerk's agendas and destroyed his lab, along with most of his research, before committing suicide so he won't be captured. BUT before his death, he told Kakashi,
"-insert inspirational and sad words-" then dies as poor little Kaka is traumatized, gets kidnapped by said gov't or corporation, is exploited for plans, forced to be secret weapon, trained as a top shinobi, grows up to be hot and smexy, meets significant other in humorous or grim situation, saves or destroys world, Team 7, aaand plot? Did I mention Kakashi's nindogs are also Sakumo's robot creations and protect Kaka to honor Sakumo's final wishes?
