I had to rush my dog to the vet's tonight as she was throwing up a lot and wasn't eating and was extremely tired. We didn't know that the grapes we were growing in out garden are extremely poisonous and toxic to both cats and dogs. We were lucky that she didn't eat any of these and that she just has a stomach bug but i need to pass this message on to all of you. It might save you're pets life.

Whilst at the vets, he told us that when an animal is being sick, not to give them water as it will just dehydrate them quicker as they will bring up that water and stomach lining fluids. The best thing to do is leave them but moderate how much water they have!

ANTIFREEZE!

Finally, i think this one is pretty much well known but antifreeze is extremely toxic to cats and pretty much all animals. When using it on your car please use only small amounts (if you have to use any at all) and avoid spilling it on the ground. The sweet smell of it will lure a cat into licking it and only a teaspoon of it is enough to do some serious damage to your (or a neighbors) beloved cat.
