Today India and I went to dinner together and we sat across from a family and the mother had every one of the family about 7 people look behind them and look at my hair as she was criticizing and laughing and making fun of me. This was a 40ish MOTHER of a family with 4 children, and she was teaching them something that to me is so ugly. I took a couple of deep breaths and told my daughter what was happening and I said lets send them sympathy and compassion and then I shared with her how ugly it is to make fun of people and how i must make her feel extremely insecure and that I hope her kids see past the ugly because we have to hold a space for that. #starseeds @cmacdaddyy breaks it down perfectly !
