Rainy was finally back in Japan after 5 years. She still had the address to her best friend and had showed it to the Taxi driver. Reaching the residence, she pressed the bell and was greeted with a female voice. "It's me, Rainy." She answered and the lady quickly opened the gate for her. They chatted for a moment and soon it was dinner time. The lady told her that her husband and son will be coming back home soon. Just on cue, the front door opened and Rainy smiled at the figures. "Hi."
Subaru had a long ass day, having to deal with the new person in charge for their department and already defying him. He was an idiot, with his fancy glasses and the way he’d flip back his hair. Subaru would rather even work together with Sora all day long and listen to the nonsense he’d babble about, than having to deal with the new department boss for five minutes.
Finally it was time for him to go home, he parked his car in the entrance and opened the door to his house. “Eh?” Subaru was dumbfounded. Was he just dreaming or did his childhood friend Rainy stand in front of him, smiling at him and mumbling a little ‘Hi’? The brunet still didn’t know what to say.
"Subaru, this young lady said she know you and you’ve been friends for long. Is that true?" His fiancee inquired, an odd smile on her lips. Eventhough they had been engaged, she did not call him darling or any of those names yet.
