Just wanted to say that your writing is absolutely incredible! Your dialogue for characters in multiple iterations is spot on. Iâve literally spent the past week reading all of your posts. Youâve made me fall in love with characters I didnât even like before. Case in point: the Constructicons and the Ark. Iâm definitely looking forward to seeing more Flatline fluff too!
Thank you! I love writing for different characters and exploring different motivations!

⢠âUm.â Staring at your work uniform, you slowly look up at the person from HR smiling brightly at you. Youâre pretty sure thatâs how serial killers smile. âI mean, I just thought Iâd get coveralls? Like everyone else?â Because this is a hazmat suit. A hazmat suit made to look reminiscent of the coveralls the other caretakers wear. Why do you need a hazmat suit? And they push the thick material into your arms, adding a respirator and head covering as your skin prickles.
⢠âNothing to worry about. Just a precaution,â they say in the harried tones of someone trying to rush someone else away from their vicinity before a meltdown can occur. âYouâll also need decon showers after your sessions with them,â they add. âThem?â You repeat, the weird material rasping against itself in your hands when you adjust it against yourself. How many aliens are you getting? Barely want one. âDecon?â Youâre beginning to get an inkling why theyâd had you sign extra liability waivers and youâre not liking that inkling. And youâre being shoved out of the building into the sun. âOnly use stall 37, itâs the only one equipped for them.â
⢠âWe really doing this?â Acid Storm asks as he flicks his wings, wandering about the oversized stall theyâd been assigned to. And itâs so strange to imagine letting some tiny alien court them. Servos flexing, he glances at the other two. Nova can at least control his abilities. Ion sort of can unless heâs upset or excited. But him? Denta gritted, he reaches out to press a servo against the concrete wall and grimaces as the stone pits under his touch. Knows what his touch can do to metal and stone, but flesh?
⢠âTheyâll change their mind after seeing us,â Nova Storm mutters, wings twitching in a shrug. Once you see what they can do, youâll back off. Pick someone else. Someone with less drama to deal with. Isnât ashamed of their abilities, but the fact that theyâre toxic to anyone whoâs not them is a well known fact. At least to other Cybertronians. Isnât sure why a human chose them, but he knows better than to get his hopes up. âPrimus,â Ion hisses and Nova turns. And stares at the little organic hidden in full body coverings dragging a cart into their stall.
⢠Clearing his vents, Acid Storm reaches to roughly smack him on the back as Ion Storm wheezes. Because heâs seen how the courting humans dress and this? Itâs not it. And whatever you try to say is so muffled itâs unintelligible. Laughing harder as your covered head tips up. Itâs really not funny at all, because youâre here courting them and afraid for them to touch you. Because you must have heard about their reputation and still wanted to court them while protecting yourself. Why would you do that? Whatâs wrong with you to make them look like acceptable conjunxes?

No Strings Pt 8
Rainmakers x Reader
⢠âItâs only for a bit,â Nova growls as you wail, struggling and you manage to grab the wall of the cage heâd had Ion go find for you. âRain, bad.â Venting in aggravation when you screech at him and refuse to let go, he tries to gently pull you loose so he can get you inside and shut the door. âTry distracting them with a treat,â he says and Acid Storm uses a pair of tweezers to pick up one of your treat discs. And pokes you in the face with it as Nova Storm turns to stare at him. But you let go and he gently drops you in your bedding and shuts the door, latching it.
⢠Swearing as you sink into the waist deep shredded material the bottom of the cage is lined with, you glare up at them. Had been almost okay with playing pet up until this, but then, since getting beamed up itâs only been one indignity after another. Hear Goldie growling at the other two as you look around your cage. Annoyed to see a wall mounted water dispenser with a straw, a tray that theyâd filled with cereal, an exercise wheel and what youâre pretty sure is a litter box.
⢠âRain,â Ion growls when you lift an arm, a finger extended as you chirp aggressively, gesturing with the other hand. âWhat do you think that means?â He asks, because youâre clearly upset, bending to grab a handful of your bedding and throwing it at the bars of your cage. And thereâs the gesture again. âAre you sure we canât take Rain? I donât think they like the cage.â
⢠âNo, we canât bring our illegal, organic pet that may or may not be sentient on a raid,â Nova says, wings flicking in annoyance. Bending down, Acid Storm taps a servo against the bars and you shoot him a sullen look. âItâs not forever, just while weâre gone,â he reassures you. And one of your arms angrily sweeps to gesture at the cage again, still chirping before you go and sit in your exercise wheel, arms crossed and your annoyed expression eerily similar to a Cybertronianâs.
⢠Venting tiredly, Nova Storm gives Acid a nudge. âTheyâll be fine. They have everything they need,â he says. Most likely youâre just upset about being locked in. Acid had said youâd been in a cage when heâd purchased you from Swindle and you apparently donât have fond memories of that. Catching his optics, you deliberately turn around, legs drawn up against your body and back to him. Snubbing him. Needs to pay a visit to Swindle and figure out what the little con artist knows about your kind, but the job comes first. Then he can try to figure out what exactly their pet is.
⢠Glancing over at where Acid Storm is offering you a different treat, lifting it over your head when you reach for it, Nova vents. Sees Acid open his mouth and like a sparkling you mimic him so he can carefully put the little disc in your mouth. And you immediately grab it, tear it in half and scrape the center out with your teeth with savage delight. âYou think Rainâs a carnivore?â Acid Storm asks and Nova fights the urge to smack his brother with the datapad. Besides, thereâs no way youâre a predator. No claws or fangs and youâre not exactly that fast, so thereâs no way you could possibly hunt prey. âPay attention,â he growls and Acid clears his vents, but rests his chin on a fist.
⢠âOur targetâs been interrupting energon shipments and thatâs how he got on the Senateâs radar,â Nova says as he pulls up a holographic image and Ion stares. âThatâs an Autobot. The uh, forcefield guy,â Ion says with a frown, watching you wander over, head tipped back to stare at the transparent image, a hand lifting to pass through the botâs ped and you flash your little teeth, chirping. âTrailbreaker. Known abilities are his forcefield and magnawheels,â Nova agrees. âHeâs an Autobot, though,â Ion growls. So why is he now playing rebel? His side won.
⢠Theyâre going to end up giving you cavities if they only feed you sugary crap. Though after eating those nasty bars or the nutrient slurry porn-bot had been giving you, thereâs no turning your nose up at sweets. Watching the three of them frowning and growl-snarl-whirring at each other, you rest a hand on Goldâs servos to lean and look at the huge tablet in his hands. Seeing a lot of boring alien gibberish. And Blue reaches to wrap his hand around you and drags you to him, a servo rubbing against your jaw as your skin prickles with static.
⢠âWhy send us? Isnât it a bit overkill?â Acid Storm asks, watching your hair start to float as you laugh. At least, he thinks the warbling noise is laughter and his servos itch to take you back from Ion. âOrders came straight from Senator Ratbat,â Nova growls, lip curling slightly and Acid Storm rumbles softly, wings flicking. Hating being ordered around by that traitor. âWe need the shanix and rations,â Nova reminds him though his brother looks as frustrated as he feels. Hears the unspoken âand itâs not like we can say no.â
⢠Wings pulling closer to his frame as his brothers both frown, Nova Storm pulls up a schematic. âMaccadams,â Ion Storm blurts, frowning and Nova vents realizing the other Seeker is right, though the barâs been abandoned for ages. And that feels like a lifetime ago, so long it feels like the memory belongs to someone else heard secondhand. âLast known location,â Nova says playing the clip and they see a dark vehicle going by the rundown street, that part of the city a ruin from the war. âWe flush him out and bring him in. Functioning.â
⢠Wings tucked close to his frame, Acid Storm immediately relaxes when he spots you standing on the edge of the table waiting on them to return. And heâs crossing over to you without hesitation, reaching out to cup your cheek and stopping short. âHey, rain drop,â he says, tone apologetic as you look up at him and his servos curl under against the urge to touch you. âIâm a little wound up right now.â Too on edge to risk it, because he has no desire to see what his outlier ability would do to you.
⢠Heâs not going to hurt you. Never has and you both know it, but you also know that nothing you say will sway him when heâs in a mood. Stressing himself out to the point that his ability gets out of control. âEverything go okay?â You ask, head turning as his brothers come in and you feel like you can finally breathe again. Every time they leave, youâre so scared something will go wrong. That one day, one of them might not come back. Need all three of them, because itâs not home unless your Trine is all here.
⢠âSorry weâre late, Nova got lost,â Ion Storm teases, runs his servo over you and smiling as your hair lifts slightly. And you reach to grab and hug one of his servos at the risk of getting a little jolt of static. âIâm sorry. Who got lost?â Nova Storm growls dumping the scavenged parts on the table and offering you a hand. âHey,â Ion growls when you abandon him to throw yourself into Novaâs cupped hands with a happy noise as you soak up his radiant heat. But then, itâs hard to compete with Nova when youâre always cold and he runs hotter.
⢠Cupping his hands around you as you go sprawling in his palm, Novaâs smile falters when he notices Acid Stormâs hungry stare. Of the three of them, his ability is the most useful. But itâs also the most destructive. Venting he leans his shoulder against his brother, feeling the faint tingle of his plating reacting to Acid Storm. Knowing if he lingers touching him long enough, his paint will begin to corrode. Unless Acid gets himself under control. âGo wash and weâll share a meal,â he says.
⢠Wants to touch you, hold you. But knows Nova is right, he needs to hit the washracks first. Then get himself back under control. Calm down and center himself so he can control his ability. So he can touch you without hurting you by accident. And youâre looking up at him from Novaâs hands. âWait for me,â he says. Spark aching when you smile for him. âAlways,â you reply to make him feel loved.

More rainmakers? Pretty please with a soul on top!
How can I say no to that?
No Strings Pt 6
Rainmakers x Reader
⢠Crooning softly as he offers you one of the tiny treats in its crinkling package on the tip of a servo, Acid Storm smiles when you reach and give him an adorably offended look when he moves it just out of reach. Chirping at him as you step closer, tiny hand outstretched. And chirping louder when he curls the servo so itâs over your head and out of reach. Hears Ion laugh at your frown before you try climbing his servos to get to the treat.
⢠Swearing as you climb his big servos like a jungle gym, you wonder if to him this is like coaxing a kitten to play with a piece of string only with a honeybun when youâre hungry. Or maybe he thinks heâs exercising you. And at least theyâve not brought you a hamster wheel or something similar, though at this point, youâd probably use it at the cost of your pride just to have something to do. Whoâd have guessed playing a pampered house pet to aliens would be boring?
⢠âQuit tormenting them before they fall,â Nova growls, tearing his optics away from where youâre hanging upside down from Acidâs hand to return to his work detail report. Wings drooping slightly as he vents. Hunting other outliers, never would have imagined it would come to this, but the new regime is determined to make sure a rebellion like Megatronâs never happens again. Pretty much any Autobot or Decepticon that had even traces of outlier abilities and didnât voluntarily turn themselves into Autobot commandâs custody upon notification for monitoring ended up on a wanted list. As terrorists. Looking up as Ion slides into a seat beside him, he hands over the datapad.
⢠Screaming in triumph as your fingers brush the corner of the package and manage to grab it, you hold it over your head as you hang from his hand. Immediately embarrassed before realizing thereâs no one around to see your little display except your alien owners. And they just think itâs cute apparently as Green rubs the top of your head with a servo before lowering you onto the table to eat your treat. Canât even muster the energy to be disgusted at yourself, because if itâs play pet or go back to porn-bot and a cage? Youâre going to ham up the cuteness for all youâre worth.
⢠âAn Autobot?â Ion Storm says, startling at your little squeal as you nab the treat and hold it up over your head, he smiles and glances back at the screen, ignoring Novaâs tired âformer Autobot.â Staring at the profile of the smiling bot, Ion sets the datapad down. Hunting others like themselves feels wrong and he hates it, but itâs the only thing keeping them free instead of in chains like the outliers theyâve brought in for not submitting. âWhat do you think theyâre doing with them?â Wings flicking when Nova just shakes his head, but then theyâre not in the loop. Theyâre just the errand mechs. But theyâve all lived through a corrupt senate and heâs afraid the past is repeating itself, feels that same tension in his brothers. That anticipation that everything is going to come crashing down to drown them all.
Hey! No request, I just wanted to ask: Do you plan the length of any of your stories or do you just plan to write until you're out of ideas
Love your writings by the way :)
Pretty much just figuring out the stories as I go. These were meant to be rough drafts to figure out the plots and rewrite later, but things got a bit out of hand. I usually have a vague idea of the storyâs direction that Iâm working toward, but I donât make outlines for any of these since they were just for fun
No Strings Pt 5

⢠Hair floating and sticking to Blue, you squirm in his grip when his servos tighten around you. Hearing him growling alien gibberish at his two brothers and you frantically push at his servos to get loose. âLet go!â Not wanting to be in his hand if theyâre about to start fighting. And then the tension bleeds out of Greenâs expression as he heads toward you and Blue, hands outstretched. The grip on you immediately easing as Blue and Green speak to each other. And Goldie still looks furious when you glance at him, his optics flicking between his brothers then at you.
⢠Wings drooping as Acid Storm holds out his hands, Ion Storm glances at Nova Storm uncertainly. Because he knows how far Nova will go to protect all of them, to stay free. And they havenât had you very long. In Novaâs optics you might be expendable. His brother would feel bad about destroying you to protect them all, but heâd do it. Grip tightening on you again to send you chirping in alarm, tiny hands pushing at his servos, he backs up a step. âA frag toy?â He asks, frowning at Acid. Youâre so tiny and helpless.
⢠Grimacing at Ionâs hurt tone, Acid Storm risks a glance at Nova. Registering their leaderâs tension. That ultimately, what they want wonât really matter. Nova will decide for them like he always does, doing whatâs best. Their voices lost in Novaâs drive to keep them safe and it chafes at him like it always has, but heâs always went along with Novaâs will. Never argued. But staring at you squirming in Ionâs hands, he canât just go along with Novaâs will this time. âI wasnât going to use Rain for that after seeing them,â he mutters, embarrassed. âAnd Iâm not letting you destroy them.â
⢠Staring at you chirping and looking up at Acid Storm, Nova Storm vents softly and approaches. Frowning when Ion Storm backs up a step, cradling you closer to his chassis and Acid shifts slightly as if to intervene. Protecting you. From him. âIâm not going to harm Rain,â he growls tiredly, watching you hang on to Ionâs servos, little head turning to try and track all three of them, obviously picking up on the tension. But what is he supposed to do about you? Hurts that his brothers assume the worse. Even if it had occurred to him that youâre so tiny. So easy to just get rid of to hide the evidence of wrong doing.
⢠Uneasy, you try to keep an eye on all three of them as they growl at each other in their alien nonsense. Whatever the argument was about, it seems to be over. But with the way Goldie is staring at you, thereâs a sense that youâre the cause. Fighting over you? Maybe Goldie isnât sold on keeping you and wants to take you back to the Sleaze-bot? Shuddering at the memory of the kennels, you stare up at him, pleading with your eyes to not go back there. Youâd seen Sleaze-bot dosing other people, the ones who screamed and refused to eat, with stuff in little vials before handing them over to be carried into the back by other giants. Donât know what happened to them back there while those awful videos kept looping on the screens. Donât want to find out.
âNo one asked for the Rainmakers or TFA Megsâ I might be misinterpreting this and Iâm sorry if I am, but please donât think somebody ELSE needs to request any characters for you to have an excuse to write them! You can request as well and yours always jump to the top of the list!
Also, I and definitely others read every fic, regardless of whether I know/like the character because your writing interests me. I hadnât cared for the Rainmakers before and now I want to see them dismantle a human pet ring for their tiny human lover in Part 69.
They will eventually

⢠Venting tiredly, Acid Storm shrugs weakly. âFrom Swindle,â he admits. And he winces when Nova Storm shoves up from the desk, optics narrowed. Because apparently, Nova knows what Swindle is selling. âThatâs not what I got them for,â he hurriedly protests, wincing as you get to your feet, chirping worriedly when you pick up on the sudden tension. Your alarm twisting through him. âOkay. I might have gone to Swindleâs to get you a frag toy, but I changed my mind when I saw Rain.â
⢠Glaring at his brother, Nova is aware of Ion Storm picking you up when you dart to the far edge of the table, frightened by Acid Stormâs tone. âDo you know what theyâll do to us if they find out you bought a sentient creature that was sold for a frag toy? Because Iâm guessing Rain is sentient?â Denta bared, his servos clench and unclench. Fighting the urge to punch Acid Storm. Does he have any idea how hard heâs worked for them? To keep them out of an Autobot lockup? And heâs thrown it all away in one stupid, impulsive move.
⢠Squirming as Blue cradles you against his chassis and backs away, you donât know what happened, but Goldie and Green are facing off, wings flared and growling at each other. Angry about something all of a sudden. Stroking your head to make your hair lift and skin prickle with static, Blue rumbles softly. And all you know is that you donât want to be anywhere near if theyâre about to start fighting. âI want down. Please.â If they start brawling, Blue might try to intervene. You might get dropped or accidentally crushed. Suddenly, painfully aware of just how small you are.
⢠Cupping a hand against you, Ion Storm can hear you nervously chirping as you squirm in his grip. Little hands clinging to his servos as he watches Nova cornering Acid Storm. And he gets why Nova is furious. Knows that not many former Decepticons like them are still free. Theyâre definitely not trusted and their overseers would just love a reason to lock them away permanently. The only reason theyâre free is because theyâre useful. âRain might be sentient. I donât know for sure,â Acid Storm says, wings dropping close to his frame under the weight of Novaâs fury.
⢠âWhat happens to Rain if they are? Youâre not getting rid of them are you?â Ion asks, his own wings flicking and Nova feels the static charge in the air building. Crackling over his plating as his brother starts getting upset. And Nova knows what Ion is afraid of. Does he really think heâd just chuck you into the incinerator to hide any evidence of wrongdoing? Even if the thought had occurred to him to protect his brothers, looking at you peeking at him with wide eyes, he knows he couldnât follow through. Acid fragged up, but you donât deserve to die for it. For better or worse, youâre theirs.
