Rude Awakening [closed RP]
The waves of the ocean glide sorrowfully across the sandy shore. It is at this quiet moment when Satoru awakens from his troubled sleep. Drowsily, he reaches for his phone in his pocket to check the time. Noticing that the sun has not yet risen, he decides to go home to freshen up. Before he moves from his resting position, he glances at the old picture he has of Amane on his phone. He stares hard at the screen, as if searching for an answer.
He lets out a heavy sigh, mumbling, “Whatever.” He ultimately decides to keep his guard up and to keep his feelings for her locked away until he knows for sure that she will return his feelings.
He arises and walks over to his desk to get his car keys. Picking up his suit jacket, he heads out of the hotel towards the parking lot.
