Week 9: New-ish group. Title Sequence
After presenting the animatics on the Tuesday that began week 9, people in class were again moved around groups. The only person who left my team was Jakub, who was replaced by Philip McDowell.
I am now on the Raindrop/Dyson sphere world, which is a completely water-based world with marine-like organic and robotic characters living within.
Our new task was to create a title sequence - and we needed to include graphic design, such as out typography etc., which was a responsibility I put myself under.
So, to begin, Kristina, Philip and I conducted research the following day on various title sequences on YouTube - some for their water effects, others for their visual effects and drawings, stuff for us to consider to add into the one we must make.
Alongside that, I looked up typography images, artists and wave drawings to help inspire me with typography. I also took photos of previous group work in the classroom and saved images of previous groups’ blogs to save images of their characters, which I will post here too in a photo post.
