Self-described as Bohemian electro cutting with the psychedelic air of her samurai sounds, Malmö’s Rebecca Bergcrantz better known as RAINDEAR assembles her latest collection of tracks under her sophomore album “Skies to My Name”. To headline her latest EP, RAINDEAR presents her most recent single “Your Vibe”. Noted by the beacon of Bergcrantz’s peaking falsettos, the track is underlined by shoegazing sustain. Contrasting the race of its beaming synths to the slow, stalking meander of her darkly vocals, Bergcrantz had this to say about “Your Vibe”, her single to usher in her album “Skies to My Name”: 

“‘Your Vibe’ is probably my most monumental and dramatic song to date. It’s a dark feminist anthem where I/we (sometimes refer to me and my army) sing about how we’ve had it and how we will collectively jump from a bridge if no one can take us seriously soon. This is all metaphorically obviously but the anger is real. However I don’t really like to make pure angry music, it’s always with a touch of euphoria and excitement cause movements are complex and so is life.”

Only one of the few offerings on her album “Skies to My Name” “Your Vibe” is preceded by RAINDEAR’s previous offerings including tracks “Coins” and “Grace”.  Previous single "Coins” contrasts the hazy psychedelia of her previous others by heavier bass lines and with a more emphatic clarity of her emotion to compliment a howling delivery. As for “Grace”, we see gunning bass lines slip past the Eastern air of cascading vocals as the track builds on the lifting euphoria of its layering textures towards its conclusion.
