Okay so you're like my main go-to for the Eda x Rayne ship, but I need to know, how do you see Rayne interacting with Luz?
Luz is gonna have a bunch of questions about Eda's past, cause come on. It's Luz. She's gonna seize the opertunity to hound anyone who knows about Eda's past for information. Let's also not forget about the Exs part. She's gonna drive both Eda and Rayne nuts with that. Demanding anecdotes, and:
Luz: oh when did you two fall in love?
Eda: *Annoyed groan*
Rayne: *completely bewildered*
Rayne is kinda startled to see their Ex/Possibly lover again, the same one who was such a trouble maker in school and a criminal after, has practically adopted this human kid (especially since I headcanon that eda vehemently denied she ever wanted kids when they were together because eda hated kids and that'd been fine at the time because they were both young and didn't see the point, it just wasn't them)
But I think they could warm up to Luz with the combined ideas that Rayne could very much be a massive dork nerd like Luz or literally anyone else in Eda's life
And that Luz could remind them of young Eda in certain ways, sure this kid is alot softer and openly sweet, but they also have a massive hunger to learn everything and are always asking questions and pushing boundaries just like Eda, once they see that, I think they're quickly gonna grow a soft spot for Luz as Eda's kid
I think they will very much get along
*Rayne and Eda skipping stones on a lake*
Young Rayne : It’s such a beautiful evening.
